      In this one-day course, students will not only revisit and sharpen their fundamental handgun skills, they will also have a much better understanding of pistol mounted optics and its advantages.
      From improving the performance of the aged eye shooter to utilizing the PMO as a self-diagnostic training tool and being able to successfully apply it in a recreational or dynamic environment.
      This class is derived from the same curriculum that is used for transition Law Enforcement from traditional Iron sighted duty guns to the modern PMOs.

      Following subjects will be covered:
      Understanding how PMOs work and benefit shooters
      Equipment selection from holsters to optics
      Shooting pistols with PMOs: Departure from Iron Sights
      Down Optics Drills
      Techniques for consistent acquisition of the Dot
      Tactical Application using PMOs including dynamic movement and cover

      Required Gear:
      Semi auto pistol with a Red Dot
      500 Rounds of ammo
      Holsters for weapon and at least 2 extra magazines
      Clothing and footwear suitable for movement
      Eye and ear protection

      Recommended:
      Hat, sunscreen, hydration, portable lunch (microwave is available on site), pen/marker.
